Village to Village Sweet Water Project

Sweet Water Project

Lagunita Salvador,  Guatemala

There is a mountain stream where fresh clean water runs 24/7. A little over two kilometers away is a Q’eqchi Village of beautiful loving people who desperately need this precious gift of potable water as the rains have not come as regularly as they once did and the Rain Water Barrels are dry causing the villagers to revert back to the contaminated dirty wells for their water.

Children in Lagunita as well as adults are having to deal with illness including Scabies and Fever, diarrhea, nausea and skin infections due to the poor quality of the wells.

Missionary engineers from Temple, Austin and Dripping Springs, the Tres Amigos, have calculated the cost of putting in a pipeline from the mountain stream to the village costing $25,000.00 U.S.

With the help of many good caring people here in the U.S. who choose Christ and put their Faith in Action, this life-giving water line can happen and make life better for His “Little Ones” for many years to come. We need your help now!

If you are reading this its most likely because you heard missionaries speak at your church, club or school. You can be a part of something that will make a positive difference in the lives of beautiful, fun-loving kids whose giggles make your heart soar and your smile broaden even though you may not understand a thing they are saying. Their joy and His love are infectious. Looking at these beautiful kids is like seeing the face of Jesus.

Our Lord Himself, said: If anyone gives so much as a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple, then truly I tell you, he will most certainly not go without his reward!

May the Lord Bless you and those you love with good and clean water!
